Hey Pumpkins!:) first post in the new year so a very happy new year to you cupcake.
Well it might be a new year but Corona virus unfortunately is still spreading like wild fire therefor you know what to do: take care of yourself by taking necessary precautions to protect yourself and those around you against covid19.
As you can tell by the title it is my Jordan year, 23 years of grace chill'!. I am feeling very blessed and grateful but I will not lie to you I am also very anxious because for some reason (by that I mean the immense amount of pressure that I put on myself) I feel like I should be a little further in life than I am now, quite frankly I should be where I aspire to be in life and should have achieved a lot more than I have (insane I know) .I honestly just want to be 22 for-like-I don't know- EVER!.
Any way enough whining let's get to business. On todays' blog post I will be sharing with you guys 5 lessons that I have learnt and that have kept me going. I could do 23 lessons I have learnt at 23 but that would take the whole day and I need to go celebrate my birthday so let's get to it.
God's love is perfect and his promises remain - Jerimiah 1:5 and Jerimiah 29:11 have been instilled in me from a very young age however when life happens by that I mean when the going gets tough we forget the promises that the lord promised us but look at the circumstances. As I reflect on my life I can testify on how perfect Gods' love is and I thank him for his unconditional love.
In life if you do not choose, life will choose for you - Ok this one is literally just that. Also not choosing is choosing.
Mind over matter - Y'all know I live by this, "your strongest muscle is your mind, train it well".
Celebrate yourself - It is very hard for me to celebrate my wins no matter how significant those wins are instead I want to do better and more but I have learnt the hard way to take a minute and do a little dance or give myself a little pat at the back when goals are met because not doing so leads to me underestimating myself and drained. I know there are a lot of us who just want to be great but never leave a room for disappointments or failure, it is super important that you celebrate yourself both you wins and losses.
Just start! show up for yourself - Like most people the fear of starting does get the better of me. I have learnt that fear will always creep in like the thief at night but what is important is STARTING scared, STARTING WITH NOTHING but JUST START because your future self will thank you for it.
I hope you guys enjoyed today's post and find something of value from it.
Please do share your lessons.
XOXO

Thank you so much ma🥰
Love it and love you😘
