Hi lovies! I trust you babies are good good and keeping safe.
Yesterday President Ramaphosa addressed the the nation on the measures that will be taken beyond the nationwide lockdown to re-open the economy. Knowledge is wisdom so If you missed it I will leave the link to that below and please share to help someone and save lives (Yes, it's that deep).
In the beginning of the year we all had high hopes and expectations for the year 2020 especially because 2019 was not so great for most of us. Truth be told though, 2020 was showing a lot of potential for great things to come until Corona virus devastated the whole world. But does that mean you should just forget about your 2020 resolutions and just cancel 2020 all together?...I think not!
A wise man once said "time lost is never found again". The one thing that we have right now Chiiiillle! is plenty of time but whatever you do and do not do in this time remember this time will not be replaced or found again.
"If you do not plant seeds today. Do not expect a harvest tomorrow".
I understand and know there is a lot of fear and anxiety levels are rocking sky high right now because there is a lot of uncertainty but we need to move babes. Whatever goals you set for yourself for this year, whether it's losing weight, starting a business, building relationships traveling (haha.. i'm kidding you will have to postpone this one but manifest it or/and pray about it and do your bit to flatten the curve of Covid-19) etc, you need to plant a seed each and every day so when this is all over you can look at the results and be proud of yourself.
I genuinely believe that this is the time for you to regroup, rethink, re-strategize and re-brand but whatever goal you have don't feel demotivated to get on it and if does not require you to break lockdown rules then get on it babe.
Mind over matter - the use of willpower to overcome physical problems. Things are chaotic and the whole world and life as we know is upside-down but it's an art to remain content, grateful and peaceful in the midst of chaos. This year could still be your year but it all depends on how you look at the glass, empty or half-full!.
We all want this to be over but you stressing yourself about the lockdown extension does not help one bit rather you should be using this time to better yourself or do something your future self will thank you for( And obviously taking necessary precautions to combat the spread of Corona virus). We do not know how life will be like after all this chaos but we remain hopeful that we will come out of it stronger and we will learn something about ourselves.
Basically what i am saying is, 2020 is still your year if you want it to be. Life is what you make of it, you think life sucks then Swetie! it will certainly suck, vise versa.
What have you learnt about yourself during quarantine?
